Standard sandpaper sheets of various grits can be used. The size will depend on how you wrap it around the block.
This sanding block is primarily designed for use on wood and may not be suitable for metal or plastic surfaces.
Brush off dust with a stiff brush after use. Avoid washing with water as it can damage the cork.
Due to its size and design, it is best suited for smaller, detailed areas rather than large, flat surfaces.
The bevelled edges allow for easier sanding in corners and along edges without damaging the surrounding material or creating unwanted curves.
Cork is a natural and durable material for sanding blocks, offering good performance for its intended use. However, with extensive, heavy-duty sanding, it may wear down over time.
Ensure the sandpaper is wrapped tightly around the block and secured firmly. Consider using sandpaper with adhesive backing or employing small clips.
Check that the sandpaper is evenly applied and that you are applying consistent pressure across the flat base of the block.
This is normal wear and tear. Gently brush off loose particles. If the surface becomes too uneven, consider replacing the sandpaper or rotating the block.
Setup: No setup is required. The SupaDec Decorator Cork Sanding Block is ready for immediate use.
Compatibility: This sanding block is designed to be used with standard sandpaper sheets. Simply wrap the sandpaper around the block, securing it with clips or tape as needed.
Care: To maintain the block, gently brush off any dust or debris after each use. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the cork material.
