The Perry Handrail Brackets (63mm) are essential hardware for homeowners and contractors seeking a reliable and secure mounting solution for handrails in residential or commercial settings. These brackets provide robust structural support with a durable zinc-plated finish that resists corrosion over time; however, installers should note that mounting screws are typically sold separately and must be chosen based on the specific substrate material.

These brackets provide a 63mm (2 1/2 inch) projection from the wall surface.
Yes, the zinc-plated finish is designed for durability, though longevity in harsh coastal environments may require periodic inspection.
No, screws are typically not included as the required hardware depends on the material of the wall (e.g., wood studs vs. masonry).
Yes, when properly installed into studs or structural members, these brackets are designed for secure support of standard handrail materials.
The brackets feature a zinc-plated finish that provides effective resistance against corrosion.
Check that the mounting screws are fully tightened and that the bracket is anchored into a solid stud rather than just drywall.
Clean the surface with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. If oxidation occurs, ensure the area is well-ventilated to prevent moisture buildup.
To install, ensure the brackets are spaced according to local building codes (usually every 1200mm). For drywall installations, it is critical to secure the brackets directly into wall studs or sufficient timber backing. If mounting to masonry, use high-quality wall anchors appropriate for the wall material. For care, wipe the brackets periodically with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust. If installed in exterior environments, occasional checks for moisture accumulation behind the mounting plate are recommended. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may strip the protective zinc coating.
