No, the gate posts are not included. You will need to purchase suitable posts separately, such as 50mm or 100mm posts, or plan for brick-to-brick fitting according to the instructions.
The gate is constructed from weather-resistant aluminium with a composite horizontal solid infill.
Clean the gate with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Periodically check hinges and locks for debris.
The gate comes with a five-year guarantee.
This gate is designed as a pedestrian gate for residential use, providing privacy and access control for homes and gardens.
The gate is not pre-assembled as a unit. It includes all necessary hardware for assembly and installation onto your chosen posts.
It features a built-in key-operated lock, specifically a Euro barrel lock, and comes with three keys.
Check that the gate is hung level and plumb. Ensure hinges are properly aligned and lubricated. Clear any debris that might be obstructing the gate's swing path.
Ensure the key is fully inserted and turned correctly. Clean the lock barrel and try applying a small amount of graphite lubricant. Check for any misalignment in the bolt receivers.
Tighten the screws or bolts securing the hinges to the gate and the posts. If the posts themselves are unstable, they may need to be re-secured or reinforced.
Wipe with a damp cloth. For minor scratches, consult the manufacturer's guidelines for specific repair methods. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Setup: The gate comes with a comprehensive hardware kit including hinges, handle, and lock mechanism. Users will need to procure suitable posts (50mm or 100mm, or brick-to-brick fitting as per instructions) that are compatible with the provided mounting hardware. Detailed fitting instructions are available via the provided link. Ensure the gate is hung plumb and level for smooth operation.
Compatibility: This pedestrian gate is designed for standard pedestrian access points. Compatibility with existing fence lines or gate posts will depend on the chosen post type and mounting method. Ensure sufficient clearance for the gate to swing freely.
Care: To maintain the gate's appearance and functionality, wipe down the aluminium and composite surfaces periodically with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Regularly check that hinges and locks remain clean and free from debris.
