The Premier Garden Supplies Alderley Privacy Elite Diamond Trellis is an ideal choice for homeowners and landscaping enthusiasts seeking a high-quality, handcrafted solution to enhance garden privacy or provide structural support for climbing plants. Constructed from premium pressure-treated timber, it offers excellent durability against the elements, though users should be aware that the natural wood may expand or contract with seasonal weather changes and requires a specific drying period before any custom painting.

Yes, but you must allow the wood to dry for 6-8 weeks after installation to ensure the moisture from the pressure treatment has fully evaporated.
Yes, the trellis can be trimmed using standard woodworking tools to fit your specific space requirements.
The panel is designed with a symmetric frame, allowing you to rotate it 90 degrees to mount it horizontally without compromising its structural integrity.
Yes, Tanalith E treatment is standard for garden wood and is generally safe for contact with climbing plants.
Since this is a natural timber product, variations in wood grain and the way it absorbs the treatment are expected and result in unique textures for each panel.
No, mounting hardware is not included, as the installation method (e.g., wall-mounted vs. post-mounted) varies depending on the specific garden setup.
Ensure that the fasteners used for mounting are long enough to grip the 30mm x 35mm perimeter frame securely. Check that brackets are tightened.
This is a normal effect of the Tanalith E pressure treatment process. It will naturally fade to a more natural wood tone over time with sun exposure.
The wood likely had too much residual moisture from the pressure treatment. Always wait the recommended 6-8 weeks for the timber to dry completely before painting.
To install, ensure your support posts or wall brackets are securely anchored, as the sturdy frame adds some weight compared to lightweight plastic alternatives. The panels can be easily trimmed or fixed to standard wooden fence posts.
Regarding care, the pressure treatment provides initial protection, but if you wish to apply exterior wood paint or stains, wait at least 6-8 weeks for the timber to dry completely after installation. This ensures the treatment adheres properly and prevents moisture from being trapped in the wood grain. Periodically check fasteners every season to ensure the panels remain secure, and clean away heavy debris or moss accumulation with a soft brush to maintain the finish.
