Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your jigsaw is unplugged from the power source before changing blades.
- Open the blade clamp on your jigsaw.
- Insert the T-style fitting of the DEKTON blade fully into the clamp.
- Tighten the clamp to secure the blade firmly.
- Plug in the jigsaw and test for blade security before commencing work.
Compatibility:
These blades feature a standard T-style fitting, making them compatible with most major jigsaw brands, including AEG, Elu, Bosch, Dewalt, Hitachi, Festool, Makita, Metabo, and Atlas-Copco. Always confirm your jigsaw's blade holder type before purchasing.
Care:
- After each use, remove any dust or debris from the blades.
- Store blades in a dry environment to prevent rust.
- Avoid storing blades loosely with other metal objects that could damage their teeth.
- Regularly inspect blades for signs of wear, damage, or dulling. Replace worn blades promptly to maintain cutting performance and safety.
