This guide is for pet owners seeking to support their cats and small dogs during stressful situations. Zylkene supplements offer a clinically proven, natural milk protein to help calm pets, making them ideal for managing anxiety related to events like fireworks or vet visits. Note that Zylkene is intended for short and long-term use and may not be a complete solution for all behavioral issues.

While some pets may show improvement within a few days, it can take up to a week for the full effects to be noticeable. It is recommended to start administering Zylkene 1-2 days before a potentially stressful event.
Zylkene is generally safe, but it's best to consult your veterinarian before use, especially if your pet has any underlying health conditions or is taking other medications.
Zylkene can be used for both short-term and long-term use. If you plan to use it for an extended period, it's a good idea to discuss it with your veterinarian.
Try mixing the powder with a more palatable food or treat. You can also try sprinkling it on a small amount of wet food or a favorite snack.
Zylkene is available at many veterinary clinics and pet supply stores, as well as online retailers.
Check the packaging for the expiration date. It is important to use the product before this date.
Ensure the dosage is correct for your pet's weight. Consider consulting with your veterinarian to rule out other underlying issues and explore alternative or additional methods for managing stress.
The capsule can be opened and the powder sprinkled on food. Alternatively, mix the powder with a small amount of wet food or a treat your pet enjoys.
Zylkene is very easy to use: simply split the capsule and sprinkle the powder onto your pet's food. For best results, it's recommended to start administering Zylkene 1-2 days before a potentially stressful event. Continue administering during the event or for the duration of the stressful period, up to a month if needed. Always ensure fresh water is available. Consult with your veterinarian if your pet is on any other medications or has any underlying health conditions. Store Zylkene in a cool, dry place. Always follow the dosage instructions provided on the packaging, which are based on your pet's weight.
