This kenable USB 3.1 Type C to DisplayPort adapter cable is designed for users with USB-C enabled laptops or devices who need to connect to a DisplayPort monitor or display. Its key benefit is enabling high-resolution video output (up to 4K@60Hz) through the versatile USB-C port. A potential caveat is the need for your USB-C port to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for functionality. Key features include a reversible Type-C connector, support for DisplayPort 1.2 Altmode, and bus-powered operation.

No, this adapter is bus-powered and draws power directly from the USB-C port on your device, so no external power supply is needed.
DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Altmode) is a feature that allows USB-C ports to transmit native DisplayPort video and audio signals, in addition to standard USB data.
The adapter supports DisplayPort resolutions up to 3840x2160 (4K) at a 60Hz refresh rate.
No, this adapter specifically converts the signal for DisplayPort monitors. You would need a different adapter for HDMI or DVI connections.
Look for a DisplayPort logo (a 'D' inside a 'P') next to the USB-C port on your device, or consult your device's manufacturer specifications.
The adapter features a 15cm lead.
Yes, the adapter supports HDCP content protection.
Verify that your USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Ensure the DisplayPort cable is securely connected to both the adapter and the monitor. Try a different DisplayPort monitor or cable. Restart your computer.
Check the display settings on your computer to ensure the correct resolution and refresh rate are selected. Make sure the chosen resolution (e.g., 3840x2160) is supported by both your device and the monitor at 60Hz. Ensure the DisplayPort cable is rated for the desired bandwidth.
Unplug and replug the USB-C connector. Ensure your operating system is up to date, as driver support may be necessary. Test the adapter with a different USB-C port or device if available.
Setup: Simply plug the USB Type-C male connector into the corresponding USB-C port on your computer or device. Then, connect the DisplayPort socket to your DisplayPort monitor using a standard DisplayPort cable. Ensure your device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (often indicated by a DisplayPort logo next to the port).
Compatibility: Compatible with any USB-C enabled device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. This includes many modern laptops, tablets, and some smartphones. The output is specifically for DisplayPort monitors and displays.
Care: Keep the connectors clean and free from dust. Avoid kinking or excessively bending the cable. Store in a dry environment when not in use.
