FAQs
Can I leave this mat outside permanently?
Yes, it is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is weather-resistant, though it should be kept away from icy or slippery conditions.
Is the mat safe for all floor types?
While the anti-slip surface works well on most surfaces, it is best to test on polished wood or delicate flooring to ensure no discoloration occurs over long periods.
How often should I wash it?
Cleaning frequency depends on your foot traffic; however, a deep wash every few months or when the mat appears visibly dirty is recommended.
Does the mat come in different sizes?
The Bourbons Doormat is available in specific sizes, such as the 90x60cm variant. Please check the product selection for available dimensions.
Will the brown color fade in the sun?
The materials are durable, but prolonged exposure to direct, intense UV light can eventually affect any product color; periodic cleaning helps maintain the finish.
Troubleshooting
Mat sliding on the floor
Ensure the floor surface underneath is clean and dry. If the issue persists, ensure the mat is placed on a completely level surface.
Stubborn stains not coming out
Soak the mat in a mixture of mild soap and water before running it through a cold machine wash cycle.
Mat corners curling
Place heavy objects on the corners for 24-48 hours to help the PVC flatten out after shipping.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your Artsy Doormat is straightforward: simply lay the mat flat on your porch or entryway floor. The material is designed to settle quickly and provide a stable base.
Care Instructions:
- Routine Cleaning: Shake or vacuum the mat regularly to remove loose soil.
- Deep Cleaning: The mat is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water to maintain the integrity of the PVC material.
- Drying: Air dry the mat flat in a well-ventilated area. Do not place in a tumble dryer.
- Safety Note: Avoid using this mat on surfaces where it may become slippery or icy, as the PVC may lose its grip under these extreme weather conditions.
