This track is designed for light to medium weight fabrics. For very heavy blackout curtains, a more robust track system may be required to ensure smooth operation and longevity.

You can trim the track using a fine-tooth saw or a hacksaw. Ensure the cut edge is smoothed with sandpaper afterwards to prevent snagging.

While the track is trimmable, joining multiple 75cm tracks is possible. However, the connection points might slightly impede the smooth glide of the curtains. For very long windows, consider alternatives or ensure a sturdy joining method.

While the aluminium is somewhat resistant to moisture, it is not specifically designed for wet environments like a shower. For shower curtains, a track made of rust-resistant material like stainless steel or plastic is recommended.

Basic tools such as a measuring tape, pencil, drill, appropriate drill bits, screwdriver, and a saw (if trimming) are typically needed. Wall fixings like screws and wall plugs are also required.

The silver finish is designed for durability. However, like any coated surface, it can be scratched or chipped if subjected to sharp impacts or abrasive cleaning. Gentle care is recommended.

Ensure the track is not bent too sharply. Check for any debris or obstructions inside the track and remove them. Verify that the gliders are correctly inserted and not damaged. Ensure the track is securely mounted and not sagging.

Bend the track slowly and gently. Avoid using excessive force. For sharper bends, consider making multiple small adjustments. If the track is not holding a complex shape, it may require additional support points or a more rigid track system.

Inspect the product upon arrival. If there is visible damage, contact the retailer for a replacement. Minor scuffs can sometimes be buffed out gently with a soft cloth, but significant damage may warrant a return.

Ensure you are using the correct type of wall plugs and screws for your wall material (e.g., plasterboard, brick). Drill pilot holes of the appropriate size. If unsure, consult a professional installer.
