Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Location: Identify the area requiring shade or wind protection.
- Secure Edges: Use appropriate fasteners such as cable ties, grommets, or specialized clips to attach the netting securely to existing structures (fences, poles, frames).
- Ensure Tension: For best results, ensure the netting is taut but not overly stretched to avoid tearing.
- Overlap (if necessary): For larger areas, overlap adjacent sections of netting to prevent gaps.
Compatibility:
The Windbreaker Shade Netting is compatible with most common outdoor structures, including:
- Wooden posts and fences
- Metal poles and frames
- Existing garden structures and trellises
- Polytunnel frames
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently rinse with water using a hose. For tougher dirt, use a mild soap and water solution with a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of wear, tear, or damage, especially after strong weather events.
- Storage: If removing for off-season storage, clean and dry the netting completely before folding and storing in a cool, dry place to prolong its lifespan.
