Full details
The Honeywell DU144 Automatic Bypass Valve controls the flow of water through a bypass circuit installed between flow and return pipework, typically at or near the boiler. Building Regulations advice states that if a bypass is installed, an automatic bypass valve should also be fitted. It saves energy by only allowing flow through the bypass when needed, in conditions like when flow through the system is reduced, or zone valves or radiator thermostats are closing. The valve has a maximum working temperature of 120°C, a flow capacity of 1.5m³ per hour, and a differential pressure of 0.1 to 0.6 bar. It features a set pressure scale and protective cap with 22mm compression ends.
