FAQs

Is this mattress suitable for newborns?

Yes, the firm polyester core provides the necessary support for newborns.

Can I tumble dry the mattress cover?

Please check the care label on the cover; it is generally recommended to air dry to prevent shrinkage of the waterproof material.

Is the mattress breathable?

Yes, the polyester construction is designed to promote airflow throughout the night.

Does it contain chemicals or fire retardants?

The mattress meets all standard safety requirements; please refer to the product label for specific material certifications.

What should I do if the cover gets stained?

Remove the cover immediately and machine wash it. For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap.

Can I flip the mattress?

Yes, the mattress is double-sided and can be flipped to ensure even distribution of wear.

Troubleshooting

The mattress appears to have a slight indent in the center

Rotate the mattress 180 degrees monthly to ensure even wear and longevity of the polyester core.

The cover is difficult to remove for washing

Ensure the zipper is fully cleared of fabric debris. If it remains stuck, lay the mattress flat on the floor to reduce tension on the zip seam while opening.

The mattress does not fit snugly in the cot

Double-check the manufacturer's manual for your specific cot bed to ensure it is a standard 120 x 60 cm model. If the gap is larger than 2cm, it is not safe to use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before using, ensure that your cot bed internal dimensions match the 120 x 60 cm specification exactly to prevent gaps. Place the mattress directly on the cot base, ensuring it lies flat without any curling at the edges. For care, keep the mattress clean by vacuuming the surface occasionally to remove dust. If the cover becomes soiled, unzip it completely, machine wash it according to the label instructions, and ensure it is entirely dry before re-applying it to the mattress. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals that could damage the waterproof layer.
