FAQs

Is this necklace suitable for individuals with sensitive skin?

The piece uses a standard silver-tone finish; if you have specific metal allergies, it is recommended to test on a small area or wear for short durations initially.

Can I wear this in the shower or swimming pool?

It is highly recommended to remove the necklace before showering or swimming to prevent moisture and chemical exposure, which can damage the finish and crystals.

What is the length of the chain?

The necklace features a standard delicate trace chain designed to sit gracefully at the collarbone; specific measurements can be verified via the included brand packaging.

How do I store the necklace to prevent tangling?

Store it laid flat or hung on a dedicated jewelry stand to ensure the trace chain does not develop knots.

Are the crystals real diamonds?

No, the crystals are high-quality decorative elements chosen for their clarity and light-reflecting properties.

Troubleshooting

Clasp feels stiff or difficult to open

Gently wiggle the spring mechanism while applying light pressure to the lever; do not force it.

Surface appearance looks dull

Gently buff with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to restore the original silver-tone shine.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Vivienne Westwood necklace, store it in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in a fabric-lined jewelry box to avoid scratching. The piece is compatible with most standard neckline styles, though it shines brightest against solid color fabrics. To clean, use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe away skin oils or dust. Do not use chemical jewelry dips or abrasive polishing creams, as these can strip the finish and damage the iridescent surface of the central orb.
