The Roughneck Multi-Purpose Bar Set is an essential utility collection designed for contractors, DIY enthusiasts, and homeowners who need reliable tools for demolition, prying, and alignment tasks. By providing five distinct bar sizes in one bundle, this set ensures you have the right leverage for everything from delicate trim removal to heavy-duty wrecking, though users should note that the steel construction requires periodic maintenance to prevent rust in high-humidity environments.

Yes, they are suitable for light stone or brickwork demolition, provided you use the appropriate size for the weight of the material.
The set is made of solid steel, providing a professional, heavy-duty feel, though exact total weight will depend on the steel density.
Yes, the claw ends are designed specifically to provide the necessary leverage to extract large framing nails.
Yes, the bars are manufactured from hardened steel to ensure durability under stress.
The 178mm bar is thin enough to serve this purpose, though the primary design is for construction and demolition.
While often used by hand, using a hammer to drive the prying end under a board can help initiate the lift in stubborn materials.
Clean the area with a wire brush or fine steel wool, then apply a thin layer of protective tool oil.
Use a hand-held metal file to gently restore the edge profile; avoid heavy power tools to prevent heat damage.
Wear work gloves to improve grip and protect hands from potential slippage during high-force prying.
These tools require no assembly and are ready for immediate use out of the box. To maintain their integrity, clean the bars after every use to remove concrete dust or adhesive residue. Because these are made of steel, store them in a dry location and periodically wipe the surfaces with a light coating of machine oil to prevent surface oxidation. If you notice a dulling of the prying ends over years of heavy use, you may touch up the edges using a metal file, though avoid grinding wheels as they can overheat the metal and compromise its temper.
