Troubleshooting

Bulb is not discovered by the app

Ensure the light switch is in the 'on' position and the bulb is within range of your Bridge or smart home hub.

Voice commands are unresponsive

Check your network connection and ensure the Philips Hue skill is correctly linked within your Alexa or Google Home app.

Bulb flickers at low brightness

Verify that you are not using an external physical wall dimmer switch, as this can interfere with smart bulb performance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, simply screw the B39 bulb into your compatible candle-base socket. Use the Philips Hue app to discover the device and add it to your smart home ecosystem. If you plan to use it with Matter, ensure your smart home hub is updated to the latest firmware.

For care, always switch off the power before handling the bulb. While the bulb is designed for long-term use, ensure the fixture has proper ventilation to maintain optimal LED health. Clean the surface with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding any liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
