While the tin is robust, we recommend hand washing in warm, soapy water to preserve the quality and longevity of the non-stick coating.
No, you should avoid metal utensils as they can scratch and damage the non-stick surface. Use silicone or wooden tools instead.
The tin measures 4cm in height, 23cm in depth, and 27cm in width.
Thanks to the high-quality non-stick coating, the need for greasing is minimized, but a light coating of butter or oil is still recommended for delicate recipes.
Yes, it is designed for use in standard home ovens for common baking tasks.
The silicone handles are designed to stay cooler than the metal tin, offering a safer and more secure grip when transferring the tin out of the oven.
Ensure the tin was lightly greased prior to use and check that the non-stick coating is not damaged or scratched.
Silicone is heat-resistant but not heat-proof. Always use oven mitts when removing the tin from a hot oven as a standard safety precaution.
This is often caused by metal utensils. Switch to wooden or silicone tools and ensure the tin is only cleaned with soft cloths.
To maximize the lifespan of your Premier Housewares cake tin, avoid using metal knives or sharp spatulas directly inside the pan, as these can scratch the non-stick coating. Always use silicone or wooden utensils. While the tin is sturdy, it is designed for standard oven use. For cleaning, simply wash in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or steel wool, as these will degrade the non-stick properties. Ensure the tin is completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup.
