Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before installation, ensure the junction box is suitable for the intended environment and that all necessary cable glands or entry points are planned. Cables are fed through the self-sealing inlets; the box is then secured, and the lid is fastened using the provided stainless steel screws. Ensure the lid is closed properly to maintain the IP66 rating.
Compatibility: This junction box is designed to accommodate standard electrical cables. Compatibility primarily relates to the size of the cable and the capacity of the box. The self-sealing inlets are designed to work with a range of cable diameters.
Care: Minimal care is required. Periodically inspect the exterior for damage. If the box needs cleaning, use a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could compromise the material or seals. Ensure the lid screws remain tight and the seals around the cable inlets are free from debris.
