The Babolat Syntec Team replacement grip is designed for tennis players of all skill levels who prioritize handle feedback and court precision. By providing a thin, high-performance base layer, it offers excellent sweat absorption and a reliable feel during intense matches. While its 1.5 mm thickness is ideal for those who want to feel the bevels of their racquet handle, players who prefer a highly cushioned or shock-absorbing feel may find it thinner than standard comfort-focused grips.

This is a replacement grip designed to be applied directly to the handle of your tennis racquet.
It features a thickness of 1.5 mm.
Because it is a standard 1.5 mm thickness, it is designed to replace your current grip without significantly altering the racquet's original handle size.
Replacement frequency depends on your playing volume; however, most players change their base grip once it loses its tackiness or shows signs of thinning/tearing.
While intended for tennis, its dimensions can be trimmed or adjusted for other racquet sports, though the length is optimized for standard tennis racquet handles.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove excess sweat and salt buildup from your hands.
Unwrap the grip back to the point of inconsistency and re-wrap, maintaining a constant 2-3 mm overlap.
Add a thin overgrip on top to increase the overall diameter and adjust the level of comfort to your preference.
To install, first remove your old replacement grip or overgrip, exposing the bare handle. Align the tapered end of the Babolat Syntec Team grip with the butt cap of the racquet. Wrap the grip slowly around the handle, overlapping the edges by approximately 2-3 mm to ensure a smooth, uniform surface. Secure the end with the provided finishing tape.
This grip is compatible with all standard tennis racquet handles. To maintain the grip's performance, wipe it down with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth after sessions to remove salt and debris. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the tackiness of the surface. If you play frequently, consider applying an overgrip over the Syntec Team base to extend its lifespan.
