FAQs

Can this break any glass in my car?

No, it is specifically designed for tempered side windows. It will not work on laminated windshields or sunroofs.

Do I need a lot of strength to use the glass breaker?

No, the high-pressure spring mechanism does the heavy lifting for you, providing the required force upon impact.

How should I mount these in my car?

You can use the provided Velcro tape to secure them to flat, easily accessible surfaces near the doors or center console.

Can I carry this on my keychain?

Yes, the compact 3.6-inch size makes it suitable for use as a keychain accessory for quick access.

Are the blades replaceable if they get dull?

The blade is integrated for safety and structural integrity; the tool is designed to be replaced if the blade or mechanism shows signs of heavy wear.

Will the tungsten tip hurt me if it's in my pocket?

The tip remains safely concealed inside the tool and only springs out when forced against a hard surface like glass.

Troubleshooting

The tool failed to shatter the window.

Ensure you are targeting a tempered side window and not a laminated windshield or sunroof. Apply pressure directly to the corner of the glass where the structure is weakest.

The spring mechanism feels stiff.

Check the tip opening for any obstructions or debris that might be preventing the tungsten steel pin from deploying. Clear any blockage gently.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation is straightforward due to the compact design and included mounting accessories. Use the provided Velcro tape to attach the tool to a clean, flat surface within the vehicle cabin, such as the side of the center console or the inner door panel. To maintain the tool, keep it in a dust-free environment and periodically check the integrity of the spring mechanism by ensuring no debris has entered the housing. Store the tool away from extreme heat when possible to preserve the longevity of the silicone grips and internal spring components.
