FAQs

Is the sweatshirt true to size?

The piece features an intentionally relaxed and oversized fit due to the dropped shoulders; consider sizing down if you prefer a more tailored look.

What material is this made of?

This sweatshirt is crafted from 100% organic cotton.

Can I machine wash this item?

Yes, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle is recommended, but always consult the care label inside the garment for specific instructions.

How should I style the balloon hem?

The balloon hem is designed to sit slightly above or at the hip; it pairs best with straight-leg trousers or denim to maintain balanced proportions.

Is the logo embroidered or printed?

The Acne Studios logo is embroidered on the left chest.

Troubleshooting

Fabric appearing wrinkled after washing

Use a garment steamer on low heat to smooth out the cotton fibers, focusing on the collar area.

Shape distortion around the balloon hem

Ensure the garment is dried flat; do not tumble dry as heat can affect the integrity of the elasticized hem.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this garment uses premium organic cotton, proper care is essential to preserve its structure. It is recommended to wash the sweatshirt on a cold, gentle cycle to prevent shrinking or distortion of the balloon hem. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach. When drying, lay the piece flat on a clean surface rather than hanging it, as the weight of the cotton can cause the shoulders to stretch. If the collar becomes wrinkled, a light steam ironing is recommended to restore its crisp shape without damaging the embroidery.
