Californian Poppy ‘Purple Gleam’ brings a unique twist to the classic poppy with its delicate lilac-purple blooms. Its silky petals shimmer beautifully in the sunshine, forming a stunning display over fine, feathery foliage. This hardy annual is perfect for informal drifts, pastel-themed borders, or the driest, most challenging areas of the garden. Extremely easy to cultivate, these poppies thrive in poor soils and will happily self-seed, creating naturalised colonies year after year. Sow directly outdoors or start indoors for earlier blooms. With minimal care, ‘Purple Gleam’ fills gaps between early spring bulbs and summer flowering, making it a versatile addition to any garden.
