Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your brushes remain in peak condition, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: Immediately after use, rinse the brushes thoroughly under warm water until no pigment remains in the bristles. For acrylics, ensure paint has not dried on the ferrule (the metal part).
- Drying: Reshape the bristles with your fingers after rinsing and lay them flat or store them bristle-up to dry completely. Never leave them sitting in a jar of water for extended periods, as this can damage the handle and loosen the glue.
- Compatibility: These nylon brushes perform best on canvas, paper, and porous craft surfaces. Avoid using them with harsh chemical solvents, as these can degrade the nylon fibers.
