Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your Tikee 4X, first ensure the device is fully charged via USB before field deployment to ensure the solar panels start with a healthy battery level. Use the myTikee mobile application to configure your intervals and framing. Always install the unit in an area with direct sunlight to maximize the solar charging efficiency.

For care, periodically inspect the solar panels for dust or debris buildup, as this will significantly impact charging performance. If the camera is installed in a high-salt environment, wipe the exterior housing with a damp cloth every few months to prevent build-up. Always format the 256GB microSD card using the Tikee software to ensure proper file structure compatibility.
