The Centek Privacy Screen Filter for 14.1-inch widescreen laptops is designed for professionals and students who need to protect sensitive on-screen data while working in public or high-traffic environments. Utilizing advanced micro-louvre technology, it limits the viewing angle so that side observers see only a black screen, effectively securing your privacy. While it excels at enhancing confidentiality and reducing screen glare, users should note that the filter is precision-fit for 14.1-inch widescreen displays and may require careful alignment during installation to ensure optimal performance.

No, this filter is specifically engineered for 14.1-inch widescreen displays and will not provide a proper fit for other sizes.
Depending on the mounting method used, it can often be removed and reapplied, provided the adhesive surface is kept clean.
This filter is designed primarily for standard LCD notebook displays and is not recommended for use with touchscreens.
Use the included microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
While the primary function is privacy and anti-glare, the material acts as a barrier that offers incidental protection against environmental factors.
This is the result of the micro-louvre technology which blocks light transmission at angles greater than 30 degrees from center.
Verify that the filter is facing the correct direction and ensure it is pressed firmly against the display.
Carefully lift the corner of the filter, use a piece of adhesive tape to remove dust from the screen, and reapply slowly.
Ensure the filter is positioned away from the rubber bumpers or hinges of the laptop lid.
Before installation, ensure the laptop screen is completely clean and free of fingerprints or dust using the included microfiber cloth. The filter is designed for 14.1-inch widescreen displays and should be aligned carefully with the edges of your bezel. Once attached, use a clean cloth to smooth out any air bubbles if applying an adhesive-backed version, or check the fit to ensure the display area is fully covered. For daily care, simply wipe the screen with the provided microfiber cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials that could scratch the filter surface or damage the anti-glare layer.
