Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon receiving your tree, remove it from the sturdy delivery box immediately to allow it to breathe. If planting in the ground, dig a hole twice the width of the current pot and deep enough to match the existing soil level. For container planting, ensure your pot has adequate drainage holes and use a high-quality loam-based compost. Regular watering is crucial, especially during the first year after planting. Apply a balanced fertilizer in the early spring to support growth and fruit development. Pruning should be performed during the dormant winter months to maintain the tree's shape and encourage healthy fruit-bearing spurs.
