Is the sauna weather-resistant?
Yes, it is constructed for outdoor use, but we recommend regular maintenance and wood treatment to maximize its lifespan against the elements.

How do I maintain the wood inside?
Keep the interior dry when not in use, wipe down benches with a damp cloth, and avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the wood.
Troubleshooting
Sauna fails to heat up
Check the main electrical breaker and ensure the hard-wired connection is secure. Consult your electrician to verify power supply.
Uneven heating or cold spots
Ensure the door is fully closed and the seals are intact. Verify that the sauna is placed on a level foundation.
Door is difficult to open or close
Check if the barrel frame has settled unevenly due to the ground surface. Adjust the base or leveling feet if applicable.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the Vidalux Traditional Barrel Sauna requires careful planning. Given the nature of the heating elements, you must hire a qualified electrician to perform a hard-wire connection directly into your building’s electrical panel; do not attempt to bypass this with standard wall plugs. Ensure your chosen location has a firm, level base to prevent uneven settling. Regarding maintenance, keep the exterior clean and treat the wood periodically with manufacturer-approved sealants to protect against moisture and UV damage. Regularly check the heating unit for debris and ensure the interior remains clean after each session to preserve the wood grain and air quality.
