This guide is for individuals seeking a post-shave treatment that soothes and invigorates the skin while imparting a sophisticated woody fragrance. The key benefit is its dual action of calming freshly shaved skin and providing a lasting, pleasant scent. A potential caveat is that the rich woody notes may be too intense for those who prefer very subtle fragrances. The Santal After Shave is a fragrant astringent designed to close pores and refresh the skin, featuring a blend of sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli, with top notes of bergamot and lemon, heart notes of clove and lavender, and base notes of musk and vanilla.

Its primary purpose is to act as a fragrant astringent, which helps to close pores, soothe newly shaved skin, reduce redness, and invigorate the skin while leaving a lasting woody scent.
The fragrance features top notes of bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, green grass, and lemon; heart notes of clove bud, lavender, and nutmeg; and base notes of amber, cedarwood, frankincense, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and vetiver. The overall profile is rich and woody.
Yes, the witch-hazel content acts as a natural astringent that can help calm and reduce inflammation associated with razor burn and irritation.
Yes, it is formulated for daily use after shaving. Its moisturizing properties from glycerine make it suitable for regular application.
While it contains glycerine for moisture, it also has astringent properties. Individuals with oily skin may find it beneficial. However, if you find it too rich, consider using it sparingly or alternating with a lighter product.
Fougère (French for 'fern-like') is a classic fragrance family characterized by a blend of lavender, oakmoss, and coumarin, often associated with fresh, aromatic, and slightly woody scents. It provides a fresh, slightly herbaceous and woody backbone to the Santal fragrance.
The bottle contains 100ml of aftershave.
Discontinue use if irritation persists. Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before wider application. Ensure the skin was properly cleansed before shaving and that the razor is sharp to minimize irritation.
Ensure the skin is properly moisturized before applying aftershave, as dry skin may absorb the fragrance faster. Reapplication may be necessary for those who prefer a stronger scent throughout the day.
This can sometimes occur due to temperature fluctuations. Gently shake the bottle and store it at room temperature. If the cloudiness persists or is accompanied by an off-odor, discontinue use.
Setup: No setup is required. Shake the bottle gently before use.
Compatibility: Suitable for most skin types. However, individuals with extreme sensitivities to fragrances or specific ingredients like alcohol should perform a patch test first. It is designed for use after shaving all areas of the face and neck.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Ensure the cap is securely fastened after each use to preserve the fragrance and prevent evaporation. Clean the exterior of the bottle with a dry or slightly damp cloth if necessary.
