Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before first use, wash the pan with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. It is recommended to season the pan lightly with a drop of cooking oil before the very first cook to condition the non-stick surface.
Compatibility: This pan is compatible with gas, electric, halogen, glass-ceramic, and induction hobs. Its oven-safe construction makes it useful for recipes that start on the stove and finish under the broiler or in a hot oven.
Care:
- Cleaning: While dishwasher safe, hand washing with a gentle detergent and a soft cloth is recommended to prolong the life of the non-stick coating.
- Storage: Avoid stacking other pots or pans directly on top of the surface. Use a felt pan protector or a paper towel in between to prevent scratches.
- Heat: Do not leave the pan empty on an active burner for extended periods, as overheating can degrade the non-stick properties.
