Product Information

Full details

The Under Armour Challenger Pro Short Sleeve is designed for soccer players and athletes who require lightweight, performance-focused gear that manages moisture during intense activity. Its key strength lies in the combination of moisture-wicking, fast-drying fabric and enhanced ventilation via the jacquard back panel, though users should note that the athletic cut may feel restrictive if you prefer a looser, baggier fit.

FAQs

Is this shirt true to size?

The Challenger Pro has an athletic fit, meaning it is designed to sit close to the body. If you prefer a loose fit, consider sizing up.

Can I wear this for sports other than soccer?

Yes, while designed for soccer, the breathability and moisture management make it excellent for running, gym sessions, and other cardio-heavy activities.

Does the fabric stretch?

Yes, the material is designed to move with your body, providing a range of motion suited for athletic performance.

How does the odor control work?

It uses integrated antimicrobial technology within the fabric fibers to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause odors.

Is the back panel see-through?

The jacquard back panel is designed for breathability but is opaque enough to maintain standard coverage.

Troubleshooting

Fabric feels heavy with sweat

Ensure you are not using fabric softener during the wash cycle, as it can clog the moisture-wicking fibers.

Unpleasant odors persisting

Wash the garment immediately after use and consider using an athletic-specific laundry detergent designed for synthetic fabrics.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent moisture-wicking capabilities
Breathable back panel prevents overheating
Anti-odor technology maintains freshness
Lightweight feel promotes natural movement

Cons

Athletic fit may run small for some users
Limited to specific colorways
Requires careful washing to maintain technical fabric properties

Setup, Compatibility & Care

There is no complex setup for this performance shirt. To ensure the longevity of the moisture-wicking and odor-control features:

Machine Wash Cold: Always wash with similar colors.
Avoid Fabric Softeners: Softeners can coat the technical fibers and hinder the sweat-wicking performance.
Tumble Dry Low: Use a low heat setting to prevent material degradation.
Do Not Iron: Avoid direct heat as it can damage the specialized synthetic weave.
