FAQs

Does this pole come with a holdall?

Yes, the complete set includes a protective holdall for secure transportation.

Are the top kits pre-bushed?

Yes, all kits come pre-fitted with high-quality PTFE bushes.

What is the primary benefit of the V-Joint Alpha construction?

It provides exceptional durability and structural integrity at the joints, ensuring the pole stays stiff and strong under pressure.

Is this suitable for natural venues?

While it is optimized for commercial carp, its stiffness makes it very capable on natural venues, though it is categorized as a More Power variant.

How do I maintain the Diamond Satin finish?

Simply wipe the pole down with a damp cloth after each session; avoid using abrasive chemicals or cleaners.

Troubleshooting

Sections are difficult to separate

Clean the joints with a damp cloth and ensure they are completely dry before assembly. Avoid over-tightening the joints.

Side puller elastic is sticking

Ensure the internal tube is clean and apply a thin coat of pole elastic lubricant to the elastic itself.

Pole feels slow or soft during use

Check that all joints are fully seated and that you are using the correct length-matched extension.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your pole, always store sections in the provided protective holdall when not in use. When assembling, take care to align the section markings to maintain optimal stiffness. The pole is compatible with a range of Daiwa professional top kits, allowing you to swap between different elastic setups depending on the target species. Clean the sections regularly using a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dirt and grit from the joints, as particles can cause premature wear on the carbon. Always check your `Interlastic` side puller bushings for signs of wear after heavy sessions, and replace them if you notice any grooves in the PTFE.
