This Lindy HDMI 90° upward angled adapter is designed for users needing to connect HDMI cables in tight spaces or with recessed ports, such as in-car A/V systems or wall-mounted displays. Its primary benefit is enabling a clean, angled connection without excessive strain on the cable or ports, but users should verify port orientation on their specific device before purchase. Key features include gold-plated connectors, internal copper foil shielding, and support for up to 4K resolutions.

The primary benefit is its 90° upward angled design, which allows for HDMI connections in tight spaces or where ports are recessed or awkwardly positioned, preventing cable strain and improving aesthetics.
Yes, the adapter fully supports resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and 8-bit color.
This is an *upward* angled adapter. If your device's port is oriented such that a downward angle is needed, you would require the opposing adapter (Lindy 41085).
By providing a stable, angled connection point, the adapter absorbs some of the physical stress that might otherwise be applied directly to the device's HDMI port, especially during cable insertion/removal or if the cable is bumped.
The internal copper foil shielding helps to protect the transmitted signal from electromagnetic interference (EMI), reducing the risk of signal degradation or data loss.
This product comes with a 10-year warranty from Lindy.
It is compatible with any device featuring a standard HDMI Type A port. However, the effectiveness depends on the physical orientation of the port and the available space, as it provides a specific 90° upward angle.
Ensure the adapter is fully seated in both the device port and the HDMI cable. Verify that the HDMI cable itself is working correctly by testing it without the adapter. Check that the adapter's orientation is correct for your setup. Confirm the device's HDMI port is functional.
Check for secure connections at all points. Ensure the HDMI cable is fully compliant with the required bandwidth (e.g., High Speed for 4K@60Hz). Inspect the adapter's gold-plated contacts for any debris or damage. Test with a different, known-good HDMI cable.
Confirm you are using a standard HDMI Type A port. Ensure no obstructions are present in the device's port. The adapter is designed for a snug fit; excessive force is not required. If it feels loose, the port or adapter may be damaged.
