FAQs

Is this beam suitable for professional competition training?

This beam is designed primarily for home practice, skill repetition, and coordination training, rather than official competitive regulation use.

What is the weight limit for this beam?

The maximum supported weight is 90.7 kg.

Can I use this on carpet?

Yes, the non-slip base is designed to work on most surfaces, including low-pile carpet, though it is most stable on hard, level floors.

How long does it take to set up?

Setup takes only a few seconds, as the unit unfolds directly onto the floor without requiring any assembly.

Is the foam soft or hard?

The beam uses high-density EVA foam, which is firm enough to provide stability for balance work while offering cushioning for landings.

How do I store it when not in use?

The beam is foldable; once folded, it can be easily stored under a bed, in a closet, or standing upright against a wall.

Troubleshooting

Beam shifts during use

Ensure the surface underneath is clean and free of dust. If using on very slick surfaces, place a thin yoga mat underneath the beam.

Surface marks or scuffs

Use a damp microfiber cloth with a small amount of mild dish soap to gently buff out surface debris.

Hinges feel stiff

The folding mechanism is designed for a firm fit. Ensure no debris is lodged in the joints and press firmly at the center to release the tension.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely lightweight and portable
Stable high-density support
Non-slip base ensures safety on hardwood and carpet
Space-saving foldable design
Professional aesthetic in a mint green finish

Cons

Limited to a 90.7 kg weight capacity
Not suitable for heavy-impact tumbling
Requires flat floor space for optimal stability

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the beam is a tool-free process: simply unfold the unit on a flat, level surface and press it down to ensure the anti-slip base is fully engaged with the floor. It is compatible with most flat flooring, including hardwood, tile, and low-pile carpet. To maintain the life of the EVA foam, wipe the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges that could degrade the foam texture. When not in use, fold the beam and store it in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight to prevent material fatigue.
