Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure wheels are thoroughly cleaned and dried. Remove all existing brake dust, grime, tar, and old wax or sealant.
- For optimal results, polish the wheels to remove any imperfections before applying the sealant.
- Apply a small amount of Poorboys Wheel Sealant to an applicator pad.
- Work in small sections, applying a thin, even coat to the wheel surface.
- Allow the sealant to haze over for a few minutes (refer to product instructions for exact timing).
- Buff off the haze gently with a clean, soft microfiber towel.
Compatibility:
Poorboys Wheel Sealant is designed for use on virtually all wheel surfaces:
- Coated wheels
- Chrome wheels
- Painted wheels
- Polished aluminum wheels
- Plastic hubcaps
- Clear, Lacquer, and Imry finishes
Care:
To maintain the sealant's protection, wash wheels regularly using a pH-neutral wheel cleaner and a soft wash mitt. Avoid abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals that can strip the sealant. Reapplication is recommended every few months or as performance diminishes, typically after 2-4 washes.
