Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine the desired layout for your garden border.
- Place the first edging section in position.
- Using a rubber mallet or hammer, gently tap the integrated spike into the ground until the desired height is achieved and the saw-tooth edge is securely anchored.
- Position the next section adjacent to the first, ensuring the connecting slots align.
- Insert a metal peg through the aligned slots of both sections and tap it firmly into the ground to create a stable connection.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each subsequent section, forming straight lines or gentle curves as needed.
Compatibility:
This edging is designed for use in most soil types, from soft garden soil to firmer ground. It is compatible with existing garden layouts and can be used around trees, shrubs, flower beds, and pathways. The metal construction is generally compatible with most standard garden tools for installation.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and longevity of the edging, periodically check for any loose connections and re-secure if necessary. Clean the surface with a damp cloth if dirt or debris accumulates. While designed for outdoor durability, avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the finish, as this may expose the metal to the elements and potentially lead to rust over time.
