FAQs

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

The LG Gram series typically features soldered components for portability, so it is recommended to verify internal component configuration before purchase.

Does this model support touch screen input?

The LG Gram 17-inch configuration listed focuses on the standard high-resolution display panel; please check your specific model settings for touch capability.

Is the laptop suitable for gaming?

While the Core i7 processor is powerful, this laptop is designed for productivity and creative work, not high-end gaming.

What is the primary benefit of the 17-inch size?

The 17-inch display provides significantly more screen real estate, reducing the need for external monitors while maintaining a slim, portable profile.

How do I maintain the battery health?

Avoid leaving the device plugged into a power source 100% of the time if it sits idle, and use the built-in LG power management software to limit charge if available.

Troubleshooting

Wi-Fi connection seems unstable

Ensure your router supports Wi-Fi 7 or is backwards compatible, then restart the network adapter in Windows Device Manager.

The system feels sluggish during heavy tasks

Close unused background applications and check Task Manager to see if a process is consuming excessive CPU resources.

Laptop battery drains faster than expected

Adjust the Windows power mode to 'Balanced' or 'Power Efficiency' and lower screen brightness.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Upon first start, follow the on-screen Windows setup assistant to configure your user profile and network connection. Keep the device updated through the Windows Update menu to ensure driver stability. For care, use a microfiber cloth to gently clean the display and exterior casing, as abrasive materials may scratch the finish. Avoid placing heavy objects on the lid to protect the slim display panel, and ensure the ventilation intake on the bottom remains unobstructed during heavy processing tasks to prevent thermal throttling.
