This guide is for anyone using Sellotape Double Sided Tape with Dispenser (SE4275) for arts, crafts, or mounting tasks. The tape adheres well to paper, cardboard, plastic, and many other materials. It is recommended to test on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the main project.
The bond is strong, but the tape can be removed, though it may potentially damage some surfaces. The bond is designed for a secure hold, but it is not necessarily permanent.
Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its adhesive properties.
This tape is best suited for lightweight items. For heavy items, it is recommended to use a more robust mounting solution.
The tape's properties may not be acid-free. Ensure the materials you are attaching are of a suitable quality for your needs.
The tape has a strong initial bond, and its longevity depends on the application, storage, and environmental conditions. The adhesive should last for the lifespan of the item being adhered.
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Apply firm pressure to both surfaces for a secure bond. Test on a non-visible area first to confirm compatibility.
Make sure you are peeling the tape slowly and evenly. If the dispenser is damaged, replace it.
