If the Silk Clay® has started to dry, try kneading a very small amount of water into it. For severely dried-out clay, it may be difficult to revive. Ensure unused clay is always stored in an airtight container.
Apply a small dab of Silk Clay® or a non-toxic craft glue (if available and age-appropriate) to the back of the googly eye or small part before attaching it to the Silk Clay®. Ensure the Silk Clay® surface is not completely dry when attaching parts.
The kit provides specific color mixes. For more vibrant custom colors, Silk Clay® can be mixed together before shaping. For instance, mixing yellow and a tiny bit of blue can create green.
Experiment with twisting and intertwining the pipe cleaners more securely. You can also use small amounts of Silk Clay® to help secure woolen strands or connect pipe cleaner elements.
