This Sealey Re-Threader Kit (Model No. AK310) is designed for chasing out damaged threads and removing nicks and burrs without undercutting good threads. It is suitable for use with a standard spanner and a little light oil. The kit includes taps and dies for metric thread sizes ranging from M6 to M12, with pitches including 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5, and 3mm. Additionally, it features a thread restorer file that can restore damaged external threads of any diameter, for both right-hand and left-hand threads, simply by selecting the correct pitch. This makes it ideal for restoration work. The set is supplied in a convenient storage case. The product weighs 0.63kg.
