The Clarks Paulson Mid is an ideal choice for the adult male seeking a versatile, smart-casual footwear option that transitions seamlessly from the office to weekend outings. These boots prioritize all-day comfort through a high-quality leather construction and a specialized footbed, though they may require a short breaking-in period to achieve maximum suppleness around the ankle.

While the leather is durable and protective, they are not fully waterproof and should be avoided in heavy rain or deep puddles.
Yes, the Ortholite footbed can be removed or replaced with custom orthotics if preferred.
Use a stiff-bristled brush and warm, soapy water to remove debris from the tread patterns.
They are best categorized as smart-casual; they work well for business casual offices but may not be appropriate for black-tie or highly formal events.
With proper cleaning, conditioning, and rotation, these leather boots are designed to provide several years of wear.
The Paulson Mid is built on a standard width last, fitting most average foot shapes comfortably.
Wear them indoors for short periods with thick socks to help the leather gradually mold to your foot shape.
Apply a suitable brown leather cream or polish to nourish the hide and restore the original luster.
Ensure you are using a double knot or consider replacing the laces with a slightly more textured variety if slippage persists.
Because these boots feature a classic lace-up design, ensure you adjust the laces to accommodate your foot volume before the first wear. They are generally true to size for a UK 6 fit. For care, wipe away surface dust and debris with a soft, dry cloth. If the leather encounters mud or liquids, clean immediately using a damp cloth and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources. Use a high-quality leather conditioner periodically to prevent the material from drying out or cracking, which helps preserve the soft texture of the boot over years of service.
