The Roughneck Gorilla Sledge Hammer is designed for heavy-duty demolition, construction, and landscaping tasks, making it an ideal tool for professional contractors and dedicated DIY enthusiasts who require high-impact precision. Its core benefit lies in its precision-forged high-carbon steel construction and versatile striking surface design, which allows for both concentrated force and general-purpose impact. However, users should note that at 3.6Kg, this tool requires significant physical effort to operate over extended periods, making it less suitable for those who prioritize lightweight portability over raw power.

The Roughneck Gorilla Sledge Hammer weighs 3.6Kg.
While it can be used for various tasks, the side striking face is specifically optimized for wooden posts. For steel posts, use the large chamfered striking face.
The handle is integrated for structural safety; it is not designed to be a user-replaceable part.
It is made of high-carbon steel, so it should be kept dry. If exposed to moisture, wipe it down and apply a light coat of machine oil for storage.
Use the dome-shaped point for demolition jobs where you need to exert high force onto a very small area to break materials like concrete or masonry.
Inspect the connection point for debris and ensure the handle attachment remains secure; if the head becomes significantly loose, discontinue use for safety.
Clean the TPE grip with a mild degreaser and water to restore tackiness. If the rubber is torn, apply a high-quality grip tape or replace the handle assembly.
This hammer requires no assembly and is ready for use immediately upon unboxing. To ensure the longevity of the tool, wipe the striking faces clean of any debris after use. While the high-carbon steel is robust, store the hammer in a dry environment to prevent surface oxidation. If the striking face accumulates paint or masonry residue, use a wire brush to clear the material to maintain optimal contact friction. Periodically inspect the TPE handle for any cracks or signs of wear that might compromise the grip's shock-absorbing properties.
