Yes, the KLF05 features a clear water level indicator to help you measure the exact amount needed.
The kettle is made of high-quality stainless steel and will get hot during the boiling process. Please handle only by the heat-resistant handle.
Smeg typically provides a 2-year warranty on their small appliances, though you should check your specific retailer's warranty documentation.
The kettle is designed to boil as little as 0.2 litres, though you should always ensure the water covers the bottom heating element.
Regularly descale the interior using a citric acid or white vinegar solution to keep the heating element clean and efficient.
Yes, it includes a removable stainless steel limescale filter located inside the spout for easy cleaning.
Ensure the power cable is firmly plugged in and the base is placed correctly on a flat surface. Check if the kettle has enough water to trigger the heating element.
Check for heavy limescale buildup on the concealed heating element. Descale the unit to restore proper performance.
Verify the kettle is not overfilled beyond the 'MAX' indicator line, as boiling over can cause condensation on the base.
To set up your KLF05, ensure it is placed on a flat, dry surface with access to a standard electrical outlet. Utilize the 1-metre cable tidy beneath the base to adjust the cord length to your needs. For daily maintenance, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and a mild non-abrasive cleaner to preserve the finish. To descale, fill the kettle with a mix of water and a food-safe descaling solution, boil, let it sit for the recommended time, and rinse thoroughly before your next use. Avoid using steel wool or harsh chemicals on the outer casing.
