Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: As a quartz watch, the primary setup involves setting the correct time and date. To set the time, pull the crown out to the furthest position and rotate it. To set the date, pull the crown to the first click and rotate. If your model has chronograph functions, familiarize yourself with the pushers for starting, stopping, and resetting the stopwatch.
Compatibility: This is a standalone analog watch and does not have electronic compatibility requirements. Its strap is designed to be compatible with standard watch strap replacement systems, allowing for customization.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Water Resistance: While water-tight to 5 bar, avoid prolonged submersion. For swimming or diving, a higher water resistance rating is recommended. Ensure the crown is pushed in completely after setting the time or date.
- Strap Care: Depending on the strap material (e.g., leather, metal), follow specific care instructions. For leather, avoid excessive moisture. For metal, clean with a soft cloth.
- Battery: The quartz movement requires a battery. When the watch begins to lose accuracy or stop, the battery will need professional replacement.
