Inspired by the Ford Shelby GT350R-C, the Ford Mustang GT4 has been designed and engineered jointly by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports to compete in sports car championship racing series globally, including the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge GTS/GT4, and GT4 European Series. The Tamiya Ford GT4 faithfully captures this sleek racing car as a 1/10 scale radio control replica. The highly-detailed polycarbonate body sits atop the easy-to-build Tamiya TT-02 chassis that you can customize for added performance! The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right. This version of the TT-02 chassis contains the prototypical Ford Mustang GT body. The original was inspired by the Ford Shelby GT350R-C and developed this GT4. The GT4 is driven by a 5.2L V8 engine with a sequential 6-speed transmission. This 1:10 scale model kit has a length of 459 mm and features an extremely robust and entry-level TT-02 chassis with an exemplary polycarbonate body including front and rear light inserts (LEDs not included). A powerful 540 Torque-Tuned electric motor and electronic speed controller are included. Many tuning parts are available optionally.
