FAQs

Does this swatter come with batteries?

No, this device requires 2 AA batteries which must be purchased separately.

Is it safe to touch the mesh?

The device features a triple-layer safety mesh for protection, but it is recommended to keep fingers away from the grid while the activation button is pressed.

Can I use this to kill spiders?

Can I wash the swatter under a tap?

No, you should never submerge the device in water. It contains electrical components that will be damaged by moisture.

Troubleshooting

The swatter is not zapping bugs.

Check the battery levels first; if they are low, the voltage will not be sufficient to create an effective arc.

Indicator light does not glow.

Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly according to the polarity markings in the handle and verify the activation button is fully depressed.

Debris is stuck between the mesh layers.

Use a small, dry brush to dislodge the debris. Do not use metal objects or water to clean the mesh.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Getting started is straightforward: insert 2 fresh AA batteries (not included) into the handle compartment. Ensure you remove any protective paper packaging from the grid area before first use. To maintain the device, always turn it off before cleaning. Use a soft brush or a gentle shake to remove insect debris from the mesh. Avoid using water or liquid cleaners, as this can damage the internal electrical components. Store in a dry place when not in use to prevent corrosion of the battery contacts.
