Full details
The Windmill Wand Bubble Machine from B&Q is a delightful outdoor toy designed for children who enjoy active garden play and sensory activities. Its primary benefit is the unique combination of a traditional windmill design with bubble-blowing mechanics, offering a multi-sensory experience that encourages outdoor movement. A notable caveat is that the product is dispatched in one of three colors (green, red, or blue) at random, meaning users cannot guarantee a specific color without prior arrangement at checkout.

FAQs
Can I choose my preferred color?

No, this is a manually operated toy that uses wind power to spin the fan.
Is the bubble solution safe for children?
The included solution is intended for bubble blowing; avoid ingestion and wash skin if contact occurs.
Can I use homemade bubble solution with this toy?
Yes, you can use most standard bubble solutions or DIY mixtures once the provided 85ml bottle is empty.
How do I store the toy to make it last longer?
Rinse the parts with clean water after use, let them dry, and store the unit in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
Wand is not producing enough bubbles
Ensure the fan is fully submerged in the bubble solution and that the ambient air has enough movement to spin the fan blades.
Bubbles are popping immediately
Check if the residue from previous sessions has clogged the mechanism; wash the fan with warm, clear water to remove old solution.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- No batteries or motors required
- Simple, intuitive design for all ages
- Includes initial bubble solution
Cons
- Color is selected at random
- Limited by wind speed for optimal performance
- Initial solution volume is relatively small
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup requires minimal effort: pour the solution into the shallow tray, dip the wand, and it is ready for play. The device is compatible with most standard bubble solution refills available at major retailers if you run out of the included 85ml bottle. For maintenance and care, rinse the wand and tray with clear water after each use to prevent residue buildup, which can cause the bubble film to become thin. Allow all components to air dry completely before storing them in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the plastic materials.
