Full details

The SmallRig NP-W235 Camera Battery Charger (4085) is an essential accessory for Fujifilm photographers seeking a reliable, portable solution to charge two batteries simultaneously. It is designed for those who require efficient power management for their GFX or X-series cameras, offering real-time monitoring through a built-in LCD screen. A key caveat is that the product does not include a USB power adapter, requiring users to provide their own wall plug with an output higher than 5V/1A for optimal results.

FAQs

Does the package include a wall adapter?

No, the kit does not include a USB power adapter. You will need to use your own, preferably one with an output higher than 5V/1A.

Can I charge the batteries while the camera is on?

This is an external battery charger; it is designed to charge batteries outside of the camera body.

What does the LCD display show?

It shows charging voltage, charging current, and the current charge capacity (mAh) in real-time.

Is this compatible with batteries other than the NP-W235?

No, this charger is specifically precision-engineered for the Fujifilm NP-W235 battery format.

Why did the mAh meter reset to zero?

If the battery is temporarily disconnected or the power source is interrupted, the charger will recalculate the charged capacity (mAh).

Troubleshooting

Batteries are not charging

Ensure you are using a power adapter with an output higher than 5V/1A. Check that the battery is properly seated in the slot.

LCD screen is flickering or blank

Verify that your power source is providing consistent voltage. Unplug and reconnect the USB cable to reset the connection.

Charging process seems to pause

Do not attempt to use the USB-A and USB-C input ports simultaneously, as this can interfere with the charging logic.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Connect the integrated USB-A cable or a separate USB-C cable to a power source with at least 5V/1A output. Insert your NP-W235 batteries into the slots until they click into place.
Compatibility: This charger is specifically designed for the NP-W235 battery type used in cameras like the Fujifilm GFX 50S II, GFX 100S, and X-T4.
Care: Store in a dry, room-temperature environment (0-40°C). Avoid exposing the charger to moisture or extreme heat to maintain the integrity of the fireproof ABS/PC housing. Always ensure the contacts remain clean and free of debris for optimal charging conductivity.
