Troubleshooting

Kit feels stiff when joining to the pole

Wipe the joint clean with a dry cloth and check for any debris or sand particles that may cause friction.

Ensure the internal wall is clean and check that the correct size bush is fitted to the 4.7mm aperture.

Difficulty fitting to pole model

Verify that your pole is within the A-Class, Aventus, or N-Gauge Pro range before attempting to force the joint.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure peak performance, follow these guidelines for your Guru Match Carp Kit:

Compatibility:

Primarily designed for the Guru A-Class range.
Fully cross-compatible with Guru Aventus and N-Gauge Pro pole models.

Setup:

When elasticating, ensure the 4.7mm tip is properly bushed to protect the carbon edge from the elastic.
Always use a high-quality connector that fits the internal diameter to prevent friction.

Care:

Clean the sections regularly with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove grit and silt which can cause joint wear.
Always store the kit in a protective pole tube when not in use to prevent crushing or cracking.
Check joints periodically for debris before fitting them to the main pole sections.
