The VEVOR Post Base Brackets are designed for DIY enthusiasts and professional builders looking for a secure, stable mounting solution for 6-inch (5.5x5.5 inch) wooden posts. These brackets provide excellent structural support for pergolas, porches, and decks by utilizing a full-wrap design that minimizes movement; however, users should ensure their wooden posts are precisely sized to match the 5.6-inch inner dimensions for a snug, professional fit.

Yes, they are designed for 5.5x5.5 inch posts, which are standardly referred to as 6x6 lumber.
Yes, they feature a durable powder-coated finish designed specifically for outdoor use and rust resistance.
Yes, the brackets are compatible with both concrete and wood surfaces using the provided hardware.
This set includes four individual post base brackets.
No, the kit includes a comprehensive accessory package containing the necessary screws and sleeves.
The brackets are manufactured from 2mm thick carbon steel.
Verify that your post is a true 5.5x5.5 inch size; if the post is slightly undersized, use exterior-grade cedar shims to create a tighter fit.
Ensure you are using a hammer drill with the correct masonry bit size before inserting the provided sleeves and screws.
To install, first position the bracket on your mounting surface and mark the anchor points. Use the provided hardware kit to secure the base to your foundation, then slide your 5.5x5.5 inch post into the bracket. Use the included dovetail and self-tapping screws to lock the post into place, ensuring the fasteners are tightened evenly to distribute pressure. For maintenance, periodically check the screws for tightness after major seasonal changes, as wood expansion and contraction can occur. If the powder coating is chipped during installation, touch up the area with an outdoor-rated rust-inhibiting paint to maintain the integrity of the finish.
