The Shimano Deore 11-speed rear derailleur (RD-M5100-SGS) is designed for optimal performance with Shimano's M5100 11-speed cassette (11-51T) and shifter. It features a long cage (SGS) and large 13T pulley wheels for efficient power transfer. The Shadow+ technology provides a super low-profile design and an optimized slant angle for light shifting action. The integrated chain stabilising switch reduces chain bounce in rough terrain, ensuring a more stable drive and consistent shifting. A single tension spring prevents contact with the chainstay, contributing to a silent ride. This derailleur also boasts direct cable routing to prevent snagging on trailside hazards, wide alloy links, and fluorine-coated link pins for enhanced durability and smooth operation. Not compatible with Shimano 12-speed or older 11-speed components.
