Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your LouLou1 boots maintain their shape and finish, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: New leather boots may feel stiff initially. Wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot.
- Storage: Always store boots in an upright position using boot trees or supports to prevent the shaft from creasing or collapsing over time.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust after each use. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather-specific conditioner or cream and buff with a soft cloth to restore the shine.
- Weather Protection: Treat the leather with a protective water-repellent spray designed for smooth leather to shield the material from rain and salt damage. Avoid submerging in water or direct heat sources, as these can dry out and crack the leather.
